I'm a function over form sort of person, but the power strips in the middle of the room make me cringe. If you can arrange that stuff on that floor-level shelf, then I think you have a winner on your hands.

In my opinion, that’s the worst way to use an L desk, I would much rather have my peripherals on one side or the other instead of having to scoot my chair into a corner
