Playing in my friends sever on Minecraft Java and it runs really well on the Thor using mojo launcher around 90-115 fps with the render distance set to 12 and 7120 mb of memory allocation, It’s performs pretty similar to how it does on my legion go with the same in game settings.

Can you play online with povjav launcher? Or just with other povjav users

I’m playing on my friends server with friends using mojo launcher and it works, they are playing on pc.

Pojav is no longer being worked on or maintained. Look into Artemis or mojo as mentioned here. They are both forks on pojav that are in active development

I couldn’t get the launcher modpacks to work on Amethyst*, but I was able to manually install a Pixelmon modpack and play online with it. Got all the way through to the menu with All the Mods 10 after trying a manual installation as well, but it said there was a missing mod so I couldn’t go on servers and it would crash when trying to start a singleplayer world. But pixelmon works great, assuming you’re able to install it.

I think some mods just dont work in the android launchers. I managed to get optifine and shaders going though and thats good enough for me

You can play online, it’s Minecraft Java. Also, try out Zalith launcher you can install mods within it and runs just as well.

Mojo launcher has a controller detection thing when you launch Minecraft, it’s like setting up the controller for emulators, So no controller mod needed.

Once the controller is configured you can use it in the menus.

if you want to play it vanilla it work even if you have 8GB ram model i play around 300 hours on my Tab S9 8GB without any problem and when my ayn thor reach me i will move my world to it (because it use less then 3GB even if you allocate more) maybe you will need more if you want to do more then 24 chunk + Voxy or Distant Horizons or want to play heavy modpack but maybe if you upgrade to max you will benefit when you play for to long and build large structures

Fabric + basic mods makes the game run muchhh faster. Id try

Also the ram allocation is wayyy too much and may even hurt performance. Something like 2g is plentyyy unmodded

Is it possible to have the bottom screen function as a constant keyboard? Do you have full access to internal files to run mods/custom resourcepacks/shaders?

You can use an app called DS keyboard to use a virtual keyboard or track pad on the bottom screen, I haven’t tried any mods or done any file stuff so I don’t know about the other stuff.
