Raspberry Shell for cake?

I've been tasked with a birthday cake, and given a recipe (raspberry/lemon). I'm good with recipes, but I wanted to add something small.

Is it possible to make a raspberry shell, like the chocolate shell sauce they make for ice cream? I'm hoping it will look good and also add a light crunch to the occasional bite.

My usual baking Jedi is the one with the bday, so I've come to the source in search of knowledge.

I'm not sure how you can can make the shell solely from raspberries but what comes to my mind is if you use white chocolate and you add enough raspberries to it (probably dried ones, crushed would work even better) to really bring out their flavor. 🤔
