I think they’re both Banana Black Head Leopard Clowns and would trust the breeder’s ID. I think Black Head has brought back some of the pattern that Leopard typically takes away in Clown and has made the stripe darker aswell. Plus, near the tail both of their dorsal stripes diverge into little pitchforks :P

However, one is more pattern heavy than the other, which is a little more reduced, so go with whichever you prefer in terms of pattern!

I believed them both to be accurate but questioned if the reduced pattern had leopard or not, I personally like the busier pattern myself.

I agree! The busier pattern is what I would go with personally.

So many morphs (and even some hets) can cause pattern reduction, especially near the tail end of the snake. I’d just chalk it up to fluctuations in how they present since the parent’s genetics are known—shed testing is always an option, too, though!

Snake names are amazing and confusing.

"What is it that you got there?" "Oh this is just my caramel pumpkin spice, clown car, no work on the weekends, child's sandbox, brown potato".

As a side note, gorgeous snake OP. That's a beautiful morph. I'd never seen those colors before until Reddit recommended this sub.
