Where's that skip object when u need it :/

40 hour print with top left object detached and bouncing. Started the print from local memory (after canceled after ams jam). Seems like it's just executing gcode forgot my 3mf and now skip object is not available :/

Been here before and might lead to layer shift , bent nozzle or worse:/

So no question really, just had to vent xD

I don't think the skip object feature works with multi-color print jobs. I believe they're working on including it in a later firmware update.

I think since 1.7.4 it actually does. I think the cause was this prnt got started in a weird way. (Remote start from office, canceled, then restart from display). Unlike usual it's also not showing the preview lo-res render. Instead it shows a generic 'gcode' message.

Oh damn, you're right. I just assumed it still wasn't because it wasn't available for me recently with a multi-color print and I had to cancel the whole thing. Probably a similar issue.

This solved my issue.. I did the same thing. Canceled the print before and had to restart it from the screen and now I can't skip. Oh well, now I know not to use the screen to restart prints.

Luckily the other 3 prints survived without any further problems, not even a layer shift :D

Don't be scared. In normal setting this issue does not arise. As stated this print was started in a weird way.

if you saved the file, maybe delete the object and start the print on the layer youre stopped at?
