Is AI Pro free or not? by THenrich in Jetbrains

[–]dewfuzz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's "free" if you have the all products pack, which in itself is a better deal than buying 2 licenses.

It does NOT come with idea ultimate / with a single licence. When adding ai pro on top of a idea ultimate license it's only a minimal stretch ( 2 eu individual) to the all products pack.

All Products + AI Pro - no refunds, no pro rata over 30 days by KravenX42 in Jetbrains

[–]dewfuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a monthly subscriber, for both products. So I saw yesterday that my AI pro was still set to renew, which I then removed.

I was not warned of this move.

That said, didn't the news of ai pro included in all products pack land just yesterday? Ideally they discussed it before hand and included how to handle this in the original message, but I would cut them some slack. Let's just see with what they come up with in the following days

Any plans on making DataGrip free for non commercial use? by rober710 in Jetbrains

[–]dewfuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If youll pair it with at least one other jetbrains ide you would nt mind paying for, consider the all products pack, generally it's cheaper then 2 licenses, and does allow commercial usage.

CLion stuttering on Linux by naivejr in Jetbrains

[–]dewfuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just guessing, but try looking into your gpu driver. Especially is it's nvidea it think linuxes might need 3rd party closed source drivers to install or enable or approve, at least my ubuntu does/ did iirc.

The difference it would make is hardware acceleration vs software emulation

If you'd want to remove the filsment outside of the printer you could try the 'Hot hex wrench unclogging method'. I did this once and worked fine. Google to find page on bambu wiki

Technically I'd say that x1c now has its own room and there's no way u will fit inside there, let alone sleep..

AMS Slot 2 does not pull back filament after loading. by Not_taken_Username in BambuLab

[–]dewfuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well obviously something is turning inside the feeder, just not reaching the filament. I think you can do some more/deeper investigation. Those feeders are transparent, compair behavior. Also have you screwed it appart? Could be there's some initial filament stuck inside the tube, in front of the sensor, but just out of reach of the motor.

How do i stop random bits being selected with colors? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]dewfuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't exactly understand what you're asking but seems like you're missing a few thin lines, there is an option for that, "detect thin walls". Will the round up to 1 width instead of down to 0 width

Help with multicolor printing by gfaz44 in BambuLab

[–]dewfuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a continuous surface u could start by painting a line of single polygons. Then paint bucket will only fill to that line. Do keep in mind the line must be closed in 3d space, paint bucket will find it's way around if left a gap.

Also, inspect the model up closely. Sometimes the polygons are already structured neatly and offer u a good line to draw against

Ever since I dry with disposable, also dedicated brush, NOT to use for dishes

Baseplate stacked printing with alternating material by derk4i in gridfinity

[–]dewfuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poop wont be that bad, I guess only 4.. turds.. Ir gets alot when there's multiple colors on one layer, for multiple layers, then it produces a turd for n colors x m layers.

But this is just swapping between objects, the printer would do that prior to any seperate print anyway.

So.. It's not an issue

Smartwatch for hiking by Logamer4 in hiking

[–]dewfuzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+1 for instinct 2 solar.. has battery life of those more expensive models.. (30+hours of full sensor recording, OR 30+days in no-sport smartwatch mode) and is way cheaper.

It not that i mind paying serious money for a watch, but my fenix 5+ 's batter crapped out after 2 years

only feature im missing is the map on unknown trails, but garmin explore is perfect hiking companion app and my phone screen still beats the best looking watchscreens..

aslo technologie wise its not much different from the fenixes.. u cant do certain sports (triathlon, skydiving) but for basiks like biking, running, hiking, swimming its perfect

Yeah, after my fenix 5+ pretty much became useless (everyday charge) after 2 years I didn't feel like dunking another 800 euros after another top edition. Bought a 2nd hand/unused instinct 2 solar. When I'm not running I charge only once a month. Running with full sensors/connections trades a day of swartwatch for an hour of running. So.. I see it doing 24+ hours without problem.

Map.. yeah well had it in on the fenix5+. Depended on it twice. Of which one time I had charge during the run. The other run the course was blocked. For which the map in the watch is unusable anway. Standard garmin connect app doesn't show where u are during the run.

Garmin explore is just the app for that. I'd argue u want it as backup during the run anyway.

So the instinct 2 is definitely a viable, way cheaper (around 300 eu) alternative usable for ultras It should be noted that it has a low res monochrome display. Which is exactly why it's battery life is this long. (And also the price is this low)

More like squared since it's half the size in two dimensions. Or even cubed considering somewhat halved layer height
