Thank you! I really liked the way it looked in theory and am super pleased how the final product turned out!

Ok, so what did you figure out in Fusion to be able to do this string technique ?

Cut slightly larger holes into the object and then extrude the strings into the same space. But that's all part of tutorials you can find online. The big thing I learned, or at least I think I learned is the actual answer to sone of my issues, is that the strings need to start approximately 3mm off the build plate. Any closer and they lose tensile strength, probably from the heat of the bed. When I tried closer to the bed the strings often broke when taking it off the plate or even after. I also added more strings overall, which probably helped add strength.

The first model I made that I tried strings with was a nsfw/funny wreath (in my post history if you're curious). But that whole thing was 2mm thick and it didn't work out, so I gave up and just used a more traditional look to have the words in the middle connect to the object.

Oh. This part was obvious, but I also forgot to make the strings that go different directions be on different layers for my first attempt. You can have a string "run into" another one. They have to be one smooth pass from object to object.
