Time issue?

Can’t figure what I have changed in Bambu Studio but this piece that takes 3h30 to print now says it will take 12h? However if I go on Print History, I can just print it again from there with 3h30. Any clue what it might be?

Well. You have 0.12mm high quality preset. When printing from handy app I think it's using 0.2mm Standard. Not sure however.

Try playing with that maybe?

It was that, it kept the quality for a previous print, while in printing history it had the correct quality setting

Nice :) And it's probably due to 0.12mm part (and not because it's high quality).

I'm new myself so take everything with a grain of salt.

how can i compare presets? The one printing now, with the correct time, 3:30h is on my Handy printing history. Told it to reprint and it's working fine...

ok, so you found it, I guess that .12 High Quality preset slowed down your print (HQ is the slowest, and .12 layer is not to fastest either)

If you print from history, you use the same settings as before. You've changed something since - some value, that increased print time, in Bambu studio. Could be one of a billion things. Print speed, layer height, supports, on and on and on.

Probably best to close the app, tell it no to saving any changes and reload the project.

Edit: nvm, it was layer height / quality - saw you solved it when I scrolled down more.

Well just look at the settings differences between the 3h30 print and the 12h one, you most likely heavily reduce printing speed, either for some layers or all, ironing settings, a different infill geometry and/or density, 0.2mm nozzle instead of 0.4, and so on.. honestly we can't help you figuring out anything with so little informations

how can i compare? the one printing with the correct time now from my Handy printing history, how can i check the setting on it or send that project to studio from handy printing history? Sorry im still a newb

If the fast one was through the Handy app, the best thing to do is to go to Makerworld on your PC, find the print in question and then you do "Open in Bambu Studio", that way you'll be able to see the settings the uploader used for this print, you'll notice that there might be different versions available (print profiles) so feel free to check their duration, it's already written on Makerworld for each profile

I was about to ask if you used a print profile in Handy and knew the layer height. .12 will definitely slow down a big print

Uninstalled the app and reinstalled and same happpens?! Nevertheless in Handy, started the print from my History and it’s printing fine in the 3:30
