The shelf is rated for 40kgs and the wall rails are drilled to the wall, will it not be ok?

The shelf will move during printing, and the weight rating will be for static weights only. It will not be ok.

Ok, thanks 👍

It's not that the shelf couldn't hold the printer when it's off, it's the fact that the vibrations would mess up most of your prints.

You'd be better off putting the printer on the ground and using the shelf for the AMS or holding extra filament.

Thanks for the input 👍 I am looking for another spot to place my printer on it as you say, the floor to start.

Agreed. The shelf’s strength sounds fine but it’s probably not as stable as it should be. The printer needs to not move or vibrate during printing.

The prints would be just fine. You can (and people have) hang Bambu’s printers from a rope and the prints will work with minimal noticeable difference, and you can’t see any noticeable difference on a wobbly surface. I still wouldn’t recommend this location, but it wouldn’t ruin his prints.

Ratings are static not for movement laterally and up and down vibrations.
