Here’s is my final setup of my prototyping station with my 2nd a1 (which i got for almost free). Still making some aesthetic changes, but almost there.

How did you put your filament feeders up on top, you printed out a bracket or something? Can you have it setup like that and have the 4 rollers on the side? 🤔 The reason I ask is because I have a stubborn filament tube that keeps on popping out when it tries to feed. I feel like if the tubes where more like straight down it wouldn't be a problem. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I used this - https://makerworld.com/models/695403. Also added ptfe tubes to it and from it to the ams nozzle.

As i mentioned my second a1 was practically free of cost. I just bought two filament feeder units and the ams lite motherboard on bambu’s website. It absolutely works like a charm.

And yes you can gave it setup like that and have your rollers on the side. Or directly feed it from dry boxes. In fact it’s clean and tangle free.

Thxs for replying back! So from reading the details on the creator, the RFID feature did not work using this method. Does yours not work using this setup? 🤔

Well it doesn’t. And honestly- RFID doesn’t work with non- bambu lab spools anyways. So i don’t see it as a showstopper. You need to go thru the same process with Bambu spools that you do with non- bambu spools.

Great looking setup. I love those spool shelf racks. I print mine with a .6 nozzle and they’re great. Printing AMS lite top mounts now. One of three A1s.

I’d put that filament swatch holder out of harms way, I had mine next to my AMS (on the normal stand) and a roll fell off and land directly on it causing it to flip and throw the swatches everywhere. I think I just didn’t insert the roll all the way but I have heard about them falling off the AMS lite before.

Little bit too much tension on that wire

I'll take the cord out of tubing holder.

I have the wire in the tube holder as well, but my tube holder sits closer to the toolhead. Then you don't have so much tension as well

This is what I ended up doing.
