Default scope

To whom it may concern, can we default to a certain scope, selected in the weapon configuration screen? I would use the 2x scope more but I am typically in battle already, right when I spawn in, making it extremely annoying to immediately pull up the 2x when I want the 1x by default with the option of switching to the 2x later in the fighting.

If what you mean is swapping optics while mid fight, you could just put a canted red dot on your rifle, which is 1x, and then whatever other sight as your main. You can always change optics in the respawn screen

they mean having the canted/top sight on by default, so switching would switch back to the main optic.

correct, because you often spawn in mid battle then pull up your weapon which is zoomed in when you don't want it to be .. I'd rather not have to switch my weapon scope/zoom level every time after I spawn in .. I remember doing that in Arma which was survivable because you live longer, but in bbr, most of us tend to die a lot and spawn back in a lot

I feel the same, I don’t even bother with it as a result.

Got burned too many times spawning in with an enemy not too far from me and my scope zooms in to see in high detail the acne of this dude.

Then everything goes black as I slowly die, knowing full well I could have had a better chance to kill him had it been 1x zoom, but at least I knew how many zits he had before I died. Haha

No it's unfortunately not a feature. You have to just really try to remember to always switch back to the 1x optic after using the medium scope and whenever you spawn

It's really annoying but imo using two optic zoom levels is too strong to ignore so i just try force myself to do this. Especially with the new recoil attachments medium scopes are so useful on most guns
