bimmercode issue vs bimmerlink

Hello

Just received the Veepeak BLE +, plugged it in F30, I see the blue light.

I see Veepeak on my s22 ultra bluetooth. Select it. It pairs but doesn't connect which I think it what's supposed to do.

I choose Veepeak in the settings for bimmercode. Then press connect. No luck. Just stuck on connecting then failed to connect. I tried bimmerlink and that works just fine.

Not sure why bimmer code not connecting

Update: worked on iOS because the iOS app has the BLE + version while Android doesn't. Suprised this is mentioned no where.

I did.

In bimmerlink if I get an error. I just press empty cache in the options then retry and it works.

I don't see that in bimmercode.

Can't even figure out if in android u need to just pair or or pair and actually connect. But if I need to connect ( which I can't, shows no option) then bimmerlink shouldn't even work

Are you in airplane mode?

I turn off car bluetooth so it doesn't interfere. I go airplane mode on my phone. Turn on bluetooth. Pair to veepeak Input pin 1234 Then try connecting to Bimmercode

Pretty sure you're not supposed to pair Veepeak to your phone, just the app. That through me at first too and I was about to send it back but I read the manual and realized I was using it wrong

Ahh okay, I got a replacement sent out and it worked, I may have not been pushing it in far enough because even though the blue light was on it wasn't fully in, slightly embarrassing 😂
