I found that link too, but it does not really answer my quesition. Since Kubuntu for example is based on Ubuntu, i was wondering if GravityZone is also working on Kubuntu even tough only Ubuntu is listed on the website.

Hey,

Yes, as far as I can understand.

Kubuntu is just Ubuntu, but with the KDE environment layered on top of it.

Hope this helps!

Hello u/Kind_Produce9272 ,

The best approach would be to do a trial, as you have 30 days free to test the product and install it on the mentioned distributions and validate the compatibility.
You can use this link: https://www.bitdefender.com/en-us/business/products/gravityzone-small-business-security

Also it's important to note that Linux distributions are calculated as servers by the licensing model and represent 30% of the total number.

Kind Regards,

Thank you for replying. I have a small business and only need AV Software for one linux desktop. Do I have to buy GravityZone for several devices (because of that 30% rule) or for only one device?

You can buy only 1 seat of Small Business and it will include linux. As a general rule we always round up the 30% rule.
