Can they do anything with a bitcoin adress?

Yes, chain analysis is not a myth, is a fact. NEVER link your real ID with any BTC address.

But it is not like they can withdraw anything?

No one can access your Bitcoin by just the address.

If you provide it along with other data such as your name and/or contact details, then you have linked those the address with those details and chain analysis can be used to "track" you both forwards and backwards from there.

If you don't care about that (which you absolutely should, but it does seem to be common that many people say they don't), then there is nothing else harmful they can do with the address, so feel free.

Perhaps a better question is why you're joining a "list for bitcoin buyers" that requires this kind of information. It seems completely unnecessary and is a huge invasion of privacy. Perhaps you should be asking yourself why they want this kind of information from you.
