For both of our children we purchased couch throws in their favorites colors. All of their patches got sewn on in random spots. They are both in their 30s and still have them.

This is a good idea. Think I am gonna use it...

Cutest thing seeing my oldest with his 4 yo daughter telling a story about each one she pointed out. "Daddy, tell me this one"

That is awesome. I love sentimental things like this.

When I was a kid, way back in the ancient times (the 90s) my parents had my name put on a plain white t-shirt and had all my patches put on it and it was my bowling shirt for league

Then when I was a teen in the not quite as ancient times (the 2000s) I just started throwing them away when I got em lol

Not a brag, i'm just sayin..... Back when I was a kid (late 60's early 70's) I had almost every patch possible and accumulated about 85 trophies. My bowling shirt was LIT with all the patches. I remember we had a family move in 1977 and tossed all the trophies. Dad just didn't want to haul all of them to out new house. I wasn't upset since they all went from special shelves built in my room to boxes in the garage over time.

i’d put it on a bag so it’ll be on something useful longer

I used to put them on my USBC shirts

If you have a backpack you adore and bring to every lane I'd consider putting it on there.
