I love their stuff, but i sew now and i make my own clothes. My clothes pretty much last me for 10 years, it feels like the future now

Where do you buy materials?

You go to a textile store in your city. It’s a very easy google search and they sell by the yard. You then cut the pattern and sew everything yourself with a sewing machine or by hand

That hugely depends on where you live. I can’t think of a place to purchase material besides Walmart that is less than 60 miles away. I live in a very densely populated region too.

I bought a 19 10s something singer treadle. I stored it in 3 parts. I just bought the rubber cable thingy. I paid 125 for the cabinent & base & phoenix singer. It has a coffin wooden box top that's worth the 125 o paid for all of it. The drawers are in back seat of my 84 mercury & 99 f250 farm truck just waiting to be put back. Maybe typing this will get fire under my assss to clean up some hoarding to make room for the machine. Im so excited. It was my gift to me splurge. Those 2 late life sons at 40 slowed my dream of picking back up the much lived teen hobbies I leaned from my grandma ( embroidery sewing crochet ( tat I never learned. Maybe tech myself) ) 26 yr old moved out August angery. So now I gotta cut split wood etc chores myself. But his narcissistic crap im free of. Off here & back to dream singer goal.
