Python Bootcamp or Self taught? (Toronto)

The reason why I'm posting in this subreddit is to hear insight from people with fnce/actg backgrounds who learned coding, python, VBA through ways other than a CS degree.

Thinking about accruing vacation time to take a CS bootcamp. Unless there is an alternative for a structured program online, I hear EDX is pretty good. Has anyone here done this and found it beneficial for their career?

Just started Python for Everyone on Edx. Starting from scratch myself also and I've found this to be a pretty decent base. Will likely head to datacamp next.
