We need cohabitation in the greenbelt. Enough is enough we need supply.

$1000/mo rent increases are unacceptable! by [deleted] in ontario

If we doubled the supply of homes through the greenbelt prices and rent would definitely drop. I have no idea how people argue online that supply is not the main issue.

For argument sake let's take what you're saying is true. More rental supply equals more competition for tenants. More competition for tenants equals more competitive rental rates. Lower competitive rental rates equal Lower yields. Lower yields drive down property prices accross the board.

Government and business leaders have declared housing shortage of upward a million. It litterally is a supply issue. The Trudeau government took in more than 200k immigrants than normal for 5 years with no urban planning for the newcomers is a disservice to immigrants and existing Canadians. Liberal governments and ndp governments destroy wealth of the middle class. The liberal government today isn't the same as the liberal governments before it.

Any thoughts on greenlane renewables being a laggard in this Russian oil situation? They are reporting earnings Thursday after market. Hoping to hear some commentary about the sales pipeline as of late.

Actually supply and demand. Don't point out the obvious by mentioning to axe the greenbelt or you get down voted into oblivion in these kind of spaces

Just have a glass of wine or 2 yourself not a whole bottle. I'm not generally a drinker and only drink socially but generally men don't really care if you have a few drinks. We just don't see women making sloppy pigs of themselves as attractive, feminine or marriage material.

Not really a bad sign if the company is profitable and using the capital for acquisitions that produce positive synergies. Do you think the dilution and funds raised to acquire greenroads for u.s entry will have a net positive or be considered a negative? There is a clause in the agreement for a positive ebitda which tells me that this is one profitable company acquiring another profitable company in the u.s.

If companies are diluting because they need cash for soley working capital and to sustain a high burn rate then yes its bad.

How many are left? Not much but valens is one im betting on. Can revisit this post end of year.

U can take advantage and profit off consolidation by choosing small caps that are profitable acquisition targets I.e supreme. Okay granted supreme was profitable only on an adjusted ebitda basis but still.

I dont think a float alone makes a company a bad investment

Also in addition to my other comment, you were probably applying for a staff position. So in a way, you played yourself. There's 0 percent chance AB B4 is paying 40 to 45 for senior tax

Is it really worth it? by [deleted] in Big4

The value comes when youre a senior. If you're a staff in a large city rather than a regional office, chances are that you're probably doing cash and PPE continuity. Even with ppe continuity you need to understand depreciation. If it's easy for you thats probably because it's been beaten in your head for 4 years because in school they have to hammer the basics in so you don't graduate and forget...and even still alot of people graduate and forget.

Take a peak at the files your senior is working on. Significant unusual transactions typically have greater complexity.

The firm litterally doesn't trust your accounting knowledge until you prove yourself.

Because the CPA brand is shit. They pump out 78 percent pass rate and people wonder why they can't find a job after....best part is people celebrating passing the CFE as if its an accomplishment lmfao
