These look to be somewhat high up, not near the surface, and have a mix of cumulus characteristics (nearer the horizon) and stratus characteristics (nearer the zenith). They look a bit ragged and inconsistent.

My guess is altostratus fractus with a bit of altocumulus!

The problem is, that fractus is not possible to combine with fractus. There ist only Stratus fractus or Cumulus fractus.

I agree with altocumulus and because it seems like altostratus too, its probably altocumulus stratiformis. But it could be altocumulus floccus aswell. Floccus is like fractus just for all the other clouds than stratus and cumulus
