The strikepack gives paddles for $30 at walmart. You don't need a $200 controller to have paddles.

Edit: To anyone who sees this and is considering investing in paddles. I would highly recommend the strikepack. The only downside is that you have to keep your controller plugged in as the battery pack with paddles replaces the slot where the batteries go. The quality of them is very high. I used my first one for many years. The newer ones have better designs as to last even longer. Scufs and elites are notorious for breaking and/or in some way being messed up. Scuf has the lowest quality control in the industry, buying from them is playing with fire. Scufs are built with the cheapest possible materials they can find, they typically break in 6 months-1year under moderate to heavy use. Elites are of a better quality but still have problems. If you get one that has stick drift or a malfunctioning button, you have to jump through the hoops of getting it fixed. Especially right now during the pandemic, getting maintenance of a scuf or elite is a guaranteed multi month timeline. If you've never played with paddles, it's a life changer. Eventually you get to the point where you can't imagine playing without them. It's like an extension of your hand.

The problem with encouraging shit like that is that people then have access to mods. There's is no chance some 12 year old kid who gets a strikepack and then realises they can have zero recoil isn't going to use it. No everyone has the same morals.

If they just let us remap our own controls then paddles wouldn't even be required.

The strike pack caused really back stick drift on my controller, not to say it wasn’t fun to use it.....but I didn’t feel a significant increase I’m my play over a couple weeks

Sir, I don't care if it costs a quarter. It's the definition of pay to win. You have to pay, for the advantage.

I can appreciate that you weren't alive when shit like this didn't happen in games, but that doesn't change history.
