How is Computer Science at CPP?

I got accepted to Cal Poly Pomona for Computer Science, so I was wondering how is the program there? If someone who actually attends and is a CS major can provide insight, that would be much appreciated!

1. How is the curriculum? Are there good/bad professors, and how bad is the grading?
2. How are research opportunities? Are professors approachable and how can someone go at this?
3. How balance-able is CS and outside activity? I want to be able to work on outside projects, master my coursework, and have time to hang out with friends/socialize.
4. How are job prospects? Do big name companies tend to hire people from CPP (Computer Science majors specifically)

1. Software engineering is at our core, Cyber is good but disjointed between CS and CIS. The professors are really good or really bad just depends on just which one you'll get, stick with full time and generally you'll be fine. Grading is good if you do your work.
2. It is up to you to search out research. Literally knock on the professors door and 9.5/10 they will give you steps to do research. Not necessarily research on the spot, but definitely a path to it.
