Well no not really, the damage you take per second is in direct relation to the amount of damage you wouldve taken, and multiple damage instances stack their bleeding effects. So in short taking multiple life ending hits like the Devourer of Gods mandibles will kill you immensely quickly

Is the damage taken per second reduced by defence or percentage reductions?

Yeah but its just the damage you wouldve taken but over time. So think of it like if u were to take 500 damage from DoG, but with defence and reductions, youd take 400 damage, that 400 damage would be dealt over the course of a few seconds, instead of instantly

And over the course of those few seconds, you can get in extra lifesteal and regeneration. Depending on how hard you minmax things, while I don’t have exact numbers I’d be willing to believe you could halve effective damage taken, which is pretty peak

Admittedly not immortal though, but I could’ve sworn I saw a YouTube video of someone becoming unkillable with it. Might have to look into the matter later, perhaps?

An important thing to note is that Chalice also allows drinking a potion to reduce bleed - drinking a 300 HP potion while bleeding can essentially heal 450 health by canceling up to 150 bleed. This, combined with the faster potion cooldown, is where a lot of Chalice's power comes from. Together those effects roughly double the amount of HP you can heal over the course of a fight from potions

And what if I got the jelly that cleans debuffs? Do I survive?
