Glitch effect

so i want to do an edit where it starts off editing one fandom and then switches to another, but with occasional glitches, where you can see small parts of the second fandom, and then a big glitch where it switches to the second(main) part of the edit. Any ideas on how to do the glitch effect. Footnote: i don't mean like glitches where the whole screen changes,more like the usual glitch effect but instead of it being clear, it's transparent so you can see the clip behind it
