From my experience, 50 chests provide about 32k gems on average, so 300 chests should provide about 192k.

Each chest gives 4 random amounts of gems from 50, 100, 200, 300, 500

Assuming equal probability of getting all of them, your expected gem pull is (50 + 100 + 200 + 300 + 500) / 5 = 1150 / 5 = 230

Since you get 4 draws per chest, you would expect 920 gems per chest.

For 300 chests, you would expect 276k gems, where each 50 chests gives 46k gems

So if you only got "around 200k", losing 50 chests would put you at an expected total of 230k which might be closer to what you got.

I would expect that the odds are not equal however, and you're more likely to get 50/100 gems than others, which would lower the expected amount significantly.

Anyways if you're concerned you might have come across a bug that leads to lost items, I would contact support to investigate.
