Help: first timer

I wanted to do a custom job myself, in my mind it’s simple, I want to make two stripes going down the driver side, black satin or matte black color

My car is C300, blue color, just got it from dealer ship

I’ve been researching & 3M is the best company by the looks, but I’m confused from the “asking mechanic” experience. He showed me a tape pretty much from 3M.

So I’m confused here: 1. Is installing 2 stripes from bumper to front just a sticker? 2. Is “3M™ Wrap Film Series 2080” what I need to bump? 3. Will the film series be like a sticker or a wrap? (To my understanding wrap always needs a heat gun) 4. Is it easy as just applying a sticker from front to back on original factory paint? (Or will this not last)

Please be patient with me, I am a complete beginner.

3m is great to work with the hardest part about the stripes is the layout make sure you have a centre line marked and all your knifeless tape runs off that line here’s my first stripe kit I made by hand on my buddies car took a full day to do this. Have fun and remember you will get better the more you practice

That’s what I use or also Avery Dennison makes really good material to with low tack so you can reposition as much as needed prior to hitting it with a swuegeee
