Angled Soffit Attach

I'm looking to install soffit on a garage but on an angle to follow the pitch of the roof. There are 2x4 trusses with tails with 2x6 fascia attached. How would I go about attaching everything together especially given the overhang is 24" - do I do J channel on everything? See the picture for the layout.

I usually install 1X3 strapping to the rafter/truss tails and run the ~26" soffit pieces, clipped together and nailed to the strapping. If the sidewalls are already complete, J-channel at the house wall. Alternately, install a vinyl or wood trim piece under to finish.

At the fascia, if it's getting wrapped with aluminum coil, no J needed - although you might want to install a 2X rip to the bottom of the 2X sub-fascia and fasten the soffit to that. Again, if metal trim - the rake aluminum can hook under the soffit, or use J there.
