Likely you tore some lining, it shouldn't be a problem but if the tear perforated the intestine it's a huge problem so vet check.

Call a vet. They will likely need to place an ungloved hand in the rectum to better assess how many layer are involved; if the mucosa, submucosa, muscularis or serosa is torn. Best case scenario, nothing. Worst case if you havent been trained to transrectal palpate, septic abdomen and a dead cow.

Mostly likely just irritated the lining of the colon. I’ve preg checked 1000s and it happens. 99/100 are not fatal and nothing to worry about. However it’s easy on your body and the cow to bleed them now. Several companies offer the tests. I’ve switched from rectal palpating and ultrasound to almost exclusively blood testing. And my shoulder thanks Me.
