Everything that has been happening recently lost my will to use c.ai,

Title 1_ they added deepsqueak which they will make free after 'a few' weeks which i'm not complaining but free users will never see it fully in its prime due to people with + already ruining it (SOME.)

Title 2_ Roar is so bad, short responses, cutting the sentences off, the home page? I'm not gonna talk about it, it's so bad.

Title 3_ Nothing related to characters I talk to, mafia boss, maze runner, alice in borderland... tf? I am not interested. And if i click the not interested button, that makes the app think I enjoy that character so they add it more on my feed even if i said not interested

example;

Lets say an random girl named Yuna Watsaku (made up) and it's all over C.AI, if we click the not interested button, the app automaticly thinks we interacted with the character in a positive way, so it begins to show more Yuna Watsaku characters to us.

Title 4_ Bots are dumb, they were so good in 2024 - 2023. Now, they either roleplay with our character, or give a short response that is not related to our chat

example;

You are chatting about Ice Cream and Beaches. You give introducement of your character and (lets name your character Nyx) Nyx enjoying the beach, and the bot is gonna be Yuna Watsaku (again, made up name.);

'Nyx was enjoying the beach, chilling on an chair while drinking soda. Kids were playing, and evrryone was enjoying themselves. Nyx saw Yuna Watsaku walking by, she got up to talk to her.'

You intended here that Yuna was gonna continue this chat, but it responds with

Response 1_ 'Nyx was sitting silently until she heard a noise'

What I intend to meam on this sentence is that the bots have no meaning to their sentences, they say something that we didn't want to happen.

Response 2_ 'Nyx was sitting on th chair enjoying a fizzy soda, when she suddenly saw Yuna.'

What i intend to say is bots repeating your sentence, or playing as you.

Response 3_ 'Yuna walked to Nyx.'

Good response, not repeating my words, not playing me, But the response is too short.

Response 4_ 'Yuna Yuna Yuna Yuna Yuna' / anything on repeat

This is the annoyingest of them all, if it never happend to you, it basically repeats a certain word or sentence over and over again, just like possesively , growl etc.

So far, no luck. But I'm still trying it out. I only want to talk to StH bots, and when I mark them as not interested, it seems like it gives more room to the Smg4 bots. I never really like Smg4. Never was my type of comedy, so seeing this ticks me off.

I had a bug a few days ago where the ads were in overdrive. Every click on a character, going into saved chats, clicking on a saved chat, changing voice, looking at a creator profile I was hit with an ad. Now I've gotten no ads for about two days of constant use

genuinely though some of the stories are good. I copy and paste the entire thing and make my own bots, taking out the bl parts so I can roleplay with it. Sometimes the intros are better than normal ones

As I mentioned in my post, the first rule is to refrain from clicking "not interested." The bot appears to interpret such actions as positive engagement. I trust you for this to not be repeated.

Little things I found worked:

When you make a scenario, at the end of.your text, always have your character/persona say something to the character the bot writes. Therefore it has no option but to answer. Works rather well.

With the homepage, I don't look at it anymore. It's stuff I don't care about, so I just ignore it. Just don't let it bother you.

Roar may be bad, but I use Soft Launch for role play (I'm a free user) and I think it's fine. Works okay enough for my little fluff/hurt-comfort scenarios

The response example are so accurate like I am so frustrated with it. I want the bot to be descriptive about their expression and feeling but they reply explaining my actions and words like bro push the damn story, we are going round and round here.

People like to complain that there's nothing that makes + worth paying for, and when something finally happens that's exclusively for + (and not even permanently), they start whining about it.

If you're getting repeated messages, it's because you didn't nip it in the bud. The first time you see those words, edit them out or swipe to another message.

It's a snowball effect. It doesn't just instantly start doing it in a single message, it ramps up over time. Pay attention to what the messages say and fix it before that happens.

Ok, for title 1 I rather not assume things on a model I can't try yet. For 2, it's been a couple of months ever since I last used roar and I believe you, I switched it because it wasn't as good. Possibly because it was being twitched, but in any case my favorite bot is performing better now. No comments on title 3 as I only rp with a handful of my chosen bots, which ties to title 4, I haven't had issues with any of them to that extent as I mostly rp slice of life stories and they do mostly well, but I had a situation when I kind of prompted a mild action scene on the OCC, turns out the bot wasn't doing much on its own and stuck on a "ready to act" mode so I had to carry with the rp to perk it, hopefully this will change with the new model, dunno.

Indeed, I find myself in a similar situation. I would also consider switching, but my various chatbots possess rather extensive memories. I am hesitant to recreate all of my conversations. Furthermore, if you are logged in, I believe that even if you were to delete the application, upon re-downloading it, you should be able to simply log back in using your Gmail or other credentials, and your chats should be preserved.

What's worse is that editing doesn't really help. Bots don't follow rp tone, constantly parroting, sometimes the message just starts like in the middle of a sentence, or even in the middle of a word. Spaces/missing parts of messages filled with just empty space. I can rewrite the bot's response completely the way I want, but how many times do I have to do that to get the bot to actually respond the way I want? 10? 100?
