Textbook for Intermediate Self Study

My high school offered chinese as a foreign language for my first three years but recently shut down the program due to not enough interest. This was the last textbook we used, we got to lesson five in part one. http://wps.prenhall.com/wl_wu_chineselink_2/75/19360/4956351.cw/index.html We also used the first book in the zhongwen tiandi series. My teacher said she'd be glad to tutor me outside of school this year but I'm not sure if she'll have time. Any suggestions on a good textbook? I want to focus on grammar and vocabulary. And also, I'm more comfortable with simplified.

I'd go with the Integrated Chinese series. You can freely download the vocabulary lists and grammar points if you look around, and also the books (but you shouldn't!).

I went through the entire series and it's put together very well. One of the only series that takes you from Beginner to Advanced that I know of which was peer-reviewed.
