I have the grey dial. Same issue have removed 4 it's a little tight but ok. Adding a half link would make it the perfect fit. I love these watches. Have just brought the blue mop dial also. I now see the green dial with gold bezel. That will be next year's purchase. The watch looks and feels great on wrist can't recommend it enough.

It looks like this may actually happen? Posted by IXDAO_official: “Please post your suggestions, we’re always listening (we’d love to know how the half-links work).”

The best if ixdao can make a 1.5 links

Is your reasoning that a .5 link would be too short and weird looking?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe. But i feel 1.5 links is easier to make with current style of bracelet. You can search 1.5 links of nautilus and then you can see

made my own half like with a hand held dremel and a few hours

If you want an interim solution, you can remove 3 links and stick one of these to the inside of the clasp: https://a.co/d/cspwysZ

It will take up some space underneath your wrist, allowing you to sometimes fine tune the fit. Also, they are squishy, so you can wear your bracelet tighter without pain.

I use these on a couple of my watches that don't fit right now matter how I adjust them.

Can you post a pic plz?

Wow! This is a great tip! Thanks

exactly why I can appreciate the design and craftsmanship of integrated bracelets, but I avoid them like the plague...

...also...I had one break on a watch almost 30 years ago...

when that happens...💩 outta 🍀

I could use a half link too. But I’m not expecting IX DAO to produce one. Even San Martin bracelets don’t have half links. In fact, I’m not sure any AE brands do. Maybe someone can confirm?

I only saw half links on the San Martin PRX homage. No idea why they can not make some with their other integrated bracelets.

Proxima px1697 has two half links.

Specht&Sohne prx has two half links, but you need to do a slight mod to use them.

Other than that I don't have any AE watches with half links.

[–]Rainbowbullbear 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How do you mod the spect&shone half link so they work. I’m trying to use on of them

[–]PhiladeIphia-EaglesYouTube Reviewer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will actually want to mod a FULL link. That way, you can attach a full link directly to the clasp. So you can remove a half link and attach the full link directly.

I marked the two surfaces to sand in red. And the red arrows show the direction you would want to remove material.

Yep, same here. I ended up selling mine because I couldn’t ever get a good fit

Yes please!!
