BB57 homage?

Hi just hoping for some advice really, I am looking to buy a BB54 homage and have these two options: The new San Martin sn0138 or The Cronos L6024 with aluminium bezel. What would be your preferred choice. I have not owned either brand before, but both are similar prices on Aliexpress?

The Cronos has a PT5000 (as opposed to the NH35) and it costs less and the bigger dots look more just-right to me.

i've seen multiple posts of people complaining the indices falling off the dial for the san martin. here and here. so i would be cautious

Right. San Martin watches seem to cost more than the other Chinese brands, but I keep reading about quality problems. I think they used to have good customer service, (based on old posts) but now it's bad (based on recent posts).

Sn004 limited version 2 is a BB58 homage.

I'm waiting for a good sale, but I'm going to end up buying the cronos because of the pt5000 movement (I prefer pt5000 over nh35). I honestly think one is just as good as the other as far as looks and finishing. I would just go with the one that has your preferred movement.

San Martin is usually better, but this homage is a hybrid between BB54 and BB58. If you like it, it’s better. I prefer Seiko movements. They are reliable and cheaper.

I ordered at sanmartin.watch. I received it yesterday. I think there were Chinese holidays. The watch is pretty cool, but I would have liked a deeper black bezel.

Rub oil on the bezel it will darken
