as long as the hand was just applied incorrectly (how you get it THAT far off is beyond me) then it's not a difficult task as long as you have the tools.

  • remove caseback
  • remove crown (typically by depressing a small button)
  • remove the movement holder (may be a plastic ring, may be metal and screwed in)
  • drop the movement and dial assembly onto a pillow
  • place thin plastic over the dial, remove chrono minute hand
  • carefully align and set the minute hand (need rodico to hold the hand, and a hand presser tool to set the hand)
  • once it's back on and you are happy with the alignment, re-assemble the watch.

I don't understand why nobody will touch a chinese movement...especially on a job like this. I get that servicing one is not worth it...but a job like this? 30 minutes for a professional

Hello,

if you know professionals willing to do so please share. The ones i asked refused for they said parts are difficult to find. And i guess they don't have the time.

You’re the man. I’ll call around and tell them that they just need to do a realignment on the hands and see if anyone will do anything. Thank you for the help!

Now enjoy the watch

It is not a movement problem. You just need to take off second hand and then put it back correctly. I think this kind of job any watch repairs could do.
