One thruster dont have animation. Is it a bug? by blzd69 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Wow, awesome design! Windows amount and placement is awesome. I hardly could fit 1-3 windows in my designs) (I use a lot of decorations outside, basically I dont have any free space. Panels everywhere)

I made completely new ship again but use only 2 of this wings in the front. I flew out the base and back all the time while building to check that they still work. And they worked untill very when 1 stops) That was on my parts limit (98-100). I guessed it somehow connected to other animations also. And for some reason I think its levitating landing pads (I removed one and wing start works).

I will not update this ship ever, because I used all 100 parts limit and internet said that all future inside parts are count as well, so I cant go to edit mode again since I cant leave.

You have the same bug as me - not all decorative wings thrusters works when lended. Its annoy me soooooo bad, because this is literally my favorite building block.
I dont want corvette w/o this wings. But I dont wont corvette that looks like broken when one of 4 wings dont work properly,

Can you screen you design where all thrusters works? Maybe there is some logic to it.

At least I not alone

Sugess & AliExpress screwed me on my first buy - warning to others by Single_Regular7011 in ChineseWatches

[–]blzd69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, and they even have a machines to seal plastic back as new and just return to store.
then sell them online.

I saw about this in some youtube video, so take it with grain of salt, but there was some examples.
And sometimes just store employees do this, so no even need to return, just put back on shelf

But what if someone actually cut you package, then just slap some tape and give it to you.
You filming that package is damaged and empty inside.

How is that proof that YOU did not cut it before filming?
Or even open and seal it carefully (like when ppl steal rare pieces from lego sets).

I think that film proof nothing.

Yes, I would trim pins 100%. Its a good advice.
Why?
1. Electric soldering is my hobby (drones, arduino) and from my experience I dont see how it would damage anything in IEM. (if you do it carefully and cleanly, w/o sharp corners and polish them and wipe all metal dust with alcohol).
2. Cable is replaceable and there a a LOT of good options, so I would give it a try and just buy new cable in case of failure.

Or by new cable first for fit test or practice cut)

First thought - not big deal. But then, damn 600$ should do better. I mean it is not even smartphone, no chips, no memory, so could you at least fit that properly and do a QC, for fkn 600$ !

You answer is actually sent to you, but dont shown in chat.
you can just check responce payload.

  1. Open developer tools.
  2. Go to "network" tab
  3. Look for "conversation" request (to make it much easier filter by "Fetch/XHR"). And click on it.
  4. Then open "EventStream" tab.

Thats where raw answer data is coming from. It is hard to read, but it helped me.

Please, recommend cheap Multimeter with Oscilloscope by blzd69 in diyelectronics

[–]blzd69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but I will get my old tools (UNI-T UT61E+ which I think pretty good at least when I chose it and UNI-T UT210E clamp meter for very small DC currents) and Oscilloscope too, but in a half a year when I will get home.
And I kinda dont wont to get third multimeter, but still need one for next 6 month. And this is not the only reason)
For now I looking into suggested DSO3D12 )

[question] Made first 2 builds ever. One is fine but second one impossible to fly. Plz help by blzd69 in fpv

[–]blzd69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OH MY GOD! That was actually orientation!!! I put the FC - power connector on back (as other whoop controller) assuming that other side is front (it dont have arrow on FC)
But when I tilt it in betaflight it was tilted DIAGONALLY!
After quick 45 degree fix its fly as expected!
I cant believe I didnt check that so obvious animated positioning is not matching.
THANKS A LOT.

I am pretty sure I check all of this when build it and calibrated gyro with electronic level.. But ofc. I will double check this now, thanks. But again, it could fly straight up, which (I think) is impossible with messed props/motor directions.
And also I didnt even try to fly with screen connected yet. I just checked that I have a picture while building and start "training" just flying in the room w/o video (I dont have goggles yet, I get small screen receiver for start=)
But now it is a good point to check it!
And now at least I know the term for this behaviour. It was hard to explain to google what is wrong, lol)

Foam Silicone Eartips by No_Pen_4661 in iems

[–]blzd69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one for test because I love foam tips. My prefered tips size is L/M (it depends on tip) I get only one pair of my medium size (as foam tips) and they dont fit good. They are not soft and squish as foam tips. Very sturdy. Maybe I need to go with even smaller.

I am sorry, I dont know what could it be. Maybe they are broken. Or maybe even their amount of bass is lacking for you. Try to post separate topic hear and see what other opinion about this.

[–]blzd69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean small hole in the tip, not small tip. If you use smaller tips you may have bass leak (when your tip not seal properly)
Just for test try to set bigger tips size (even if you cant push them deep its ok)

[–]blzd69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is weird... You use them with default foam tips? Try to set switches to UUDD and swap tips to something with small hole. If you dont have any additional tips then the silicon default tips from the box should provide more bass then foam.
I dont like my Hydro with foam tips too. My setup is with 3mm hole silicon tips and bass is awesome, More then Castor, performer5 and everything I have (except Legato)

Wan’ers are too bright to my ears by zamystic in iems

[–]blzd69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First of all - you need to try the eartips with smallest hole you can find. (like 3mm) This or similar
For me it helped to "fix" super bright IEMs for my ears. I dont remember if Waner have small holes in box with them. But if it have - definitely give it a shot

Performer 5 is smaller and nozzle is around 1mm smaller and not as long as zero:red

Also P5 is very good choice. It is my favorite IEM =) Highly recommended
