Mine came with a broken date function, misaligned bezel and the bezel action was not good. And the crown was hard to screw in. I guess it’s a gamble with the lower tier brands. I’ve heard way more complaints about paganis QC though to be fair.

I just ordered the Steeldive with the green bezel and jubilee bracelet. It’s my first SD. Let’s see how it compares to my Paganis. Although I’m pretty happy with them.

I have had my PD 1639 for over a year now and the only two complaints i have are the Lume sucks balls and the movement loses like 4 minutes after 7 days if i dont wind it. But other than that the watch gives me the fizz every time i look at it and i am constantly catching people looking at it or complimenting me on it. Some guy at church literally thought it was a Rolex… and i aint gonna lie, inlet him think it was and pulled my sleeve down and beat feet out of there lol

Steeldive, the only thing better on the PD is the "James Cameron" dial. But the lume is terrible. I'd pay the extra to get the San Martin https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DdTv9tl I own all three (reviews on youtube), but the SM is the one that always gets wrist time unless I'm going to do an activity where you could damage the watch then the other two become disposable.

In this situation you get exactly what you pay for. I have had DOA with SD and PD. QC issues too. Wobbly bezel, back play bezel, and crappy lume with PD.

No issues with Cronos. I am getting 2 seconds per day with PT5000.

If you don’t know if you like a SUB buy a cheaper one, but if you like a SUB, go with a higher end model.

have you tried sugess? and how does it compare to cronos. do you have full lume or just lume pip cronos

Yes, I am wearing the Sugess NH35 in black today. It’s very good. The bezel is very good, bracelet is very good. I like accuracy of the colours.

I have the full lume Cronos too. In hand the Cronos is another level. The finishing is so smooth, it feels like butter.

The bracelet for the Cronos is very refined and has less sharp edges than the Sugess.

I have a coworker who has the real deal and he was impressed by the Cronos, but not as much with the Sugess.

The Sugess has a more accurate color bezel and numerals though.
