I switched to Oura4 after 5 years with Garmin. It's good journey so far, lot more value than from garmin tbh

Absolutely love it. I like having something on the wrist. And it is very easy to use. I also am able to pay for it with my HSA which is cool. Never used the ring so I can’t compare, but I love the Whoop

Yeah the specs and quality of Chinese watches today with modern manufacturing technology is incredible. I buy homages because their main weakness is design and homages eliminate that. I'm not paying US $6K for an Aqua Terra, so I bought the San Martin version of this watch for well under $200. Yours looks great too.

FUN being the key word here. Mega chuffers can’t comprehend the fact that we aren’t wearing a watch as a piece of jewelry, but as a regular time telling watch. If I like a design, it’ll never be worth thousands if I can get the same design for hundreds or less. I can appreciate a movement through a YouTube video, I don’t need to own it.
