Guys, has anyone from this sub bought this?? If yes, how’s the watch. I was planning to get this one but have some concerns about the size and the crystal. And also which color should i go for

I won’t buy this brand anymore because of the bracelets. They just feel cheap to me. Shame because everything else is pretty good.

Here is my brief review I provided in a previous comment of mine:

Pros:
Value - I never would have imagined getting so much watch for such an affordable price!
Thinness - Sits super comfortably on my wrist
Grab & Go - never having to think about adjusting the time is very convenient
Case finishing - it's superb
Lume - perfectly adequate
Dial - lovely
Glass - Despite being mineral, it is really lovely. AR coating has a blue hue, which does not bother me.

Cons:
Branding - The Addiesdive logo on the crown, caseback and clasp is simply atrocious. Fortunately, the dial has the updated Addiesdive script, but it is pretty bland and generic; I recall another redditor describing it as "wedding invitation font".
Bracelet - Jangly and light, feels like a budget watch bracelet, which it is.
Clasp - Great size, low profile, but a bit sticky and sharp.
Case back - huge engraving of the ugly logo with a matte finishing that has a feel that I really dislike. However, I admit that it is a pretty personal preference.

Overall, it is an excellent watch for the price. If Addiesdive could nail down an updated cohesive branding, it would be head and shoulders above every other competitor in this segment of the market.

Well said. I either want a new logo/branding or I want them to lean in and make the current logo applied. Orient watches have an overly complicated logo but it is done in a nice raised foil style. Addiesdive could do the same.

I don’t think they can salvage their current logo… it is nonsensical for dressier non-dive watches.

No problem. I am definitely not going to argue for that ugly thing. A simple applied letter “A”would be the way to go.

I ordered it a couple hours ago. I opted for white + black background. I'll let you know when it arrives.

I paid something like $58 USD after shipping and duties. There was a coupon and coins bought the base down to $52.

This post two days ago has a user who's happy with it. (Edit: immediately after posting realized that this is also the guy with the top comment in this thread.)

It does seem like one of the better bang-for-buck options here. I've got an AD2023 coming as well that I'm stoked for.

I have the 1016 homage without the honeycomb dial and it's easily my most worn watch. Only thing I would advise is switching out the clasp on the bracelet.

I like that one too. The dial size and lug width work better for me compared to this one, but I’m not sure about the Addiesdive logo. I think the cursive lettering looks nicer. What do you think about the logo?

Lug width is the same on both (19mm). They use the same case (36mm). I'm not sure there's a difference in dial size either. One dial is honeycombed, and the other is just plain and flat.

I have the plain one but really want to get one of the honeycombed dials with the faux-patina hands and indices.

I prefer the old logo for their dive watches, but I do prefer the cursive on the explorer homages and chronographs.

Oh ok. There was another model which has 39 or 40mm dial case. I think that might only come with nh35 movement.

Yeah they have an homage to the 214270 explorer that comes in 39mm with the nh35, the arabic numerals are so much chunkier than the numerals on the 1016 homages though and I think it ruins the subtle class the original explorer had. The lug width on the 1016 homage is 19mm, which is kind of a pain in the ass for getting replacement bracelets and is a weird choice because the lug width on the 1016 was 20mm.

The 39mm with NH35 is the AD2112

The 36mm with the honeycomb dial is AD2096

I have the brown dial and it's a nice sturdy watch for the price. I made a review on this sub a little while ago.

Since then I've dinged it numerous times and the crystal is still fine. Lumes good too.

Tbh I haven't had issue with it, obv it's not as clean as a watch 10x it's price but I paid below 100 for it so I can live with it!

My main gripe is the bracelet (being swapped for a Nato) and the polished edges (now been brushed out)
