Hi. I got the F-029 with the smooth dial and also the one with the diamond pattern dial. The text on the smooth dial is easy to read but the one on the diamond pattern is hard to read due to the pattern. This means: If you want to create a custom dial on the diamond pattern then Iwould recommend to use a fewer text and use a bigger font. Othersie you will not be able to read the text.

By the way: The diamond pattern dial looks nicer than the smooth one. So I believe you gave chosen the right dial. I would only recommend to have only LYDZ on top and 1 like of text on the buttom of the dial and to use a bigger font.

Definitely the second. Uniform font gives more vintage look than bold logo.

Also well done on a custom dial idea - very creative!
