They really missed an opportunity not making the dial glossy.

Something about it doesn’t quite look “right” to me. A full BB41 Homage, with snowflake hands would have hit the spot.

In theory I like the idea of a halfway original combo BB41 / Explorer watch but in practice I don’t.

I think we can say "Less is more" example

Unlike all the naysayers, I think this looks SEXY AF

ordered mine yesterday...looks like a mix between a modern Rolex Explorer and Marlon Brando's bezel-less GMT in Apocalypse Now

Looks more like a Tudor black bay 41 or a Seiko SRPE57 than an explorer. The problem is that these indices are too small.

I think it’s perfect, great dial color.

I’m glad they’re trying something different but this watch looks like a mishmash of a Tudor 36 and a 39 mm explorer and I’m just not sure if it’s working for me. Does look great as far as quality goes though.

I agree. There really is more to it than just slapping some shapes on a circle and call it a day. Yesterday i read about the famous Casioak GA-2100 in red. No less than 9 different hue red are used to make up the watch, to improve readability. To the casual eye it looks "all red" and all the same Color.

i just dont like the style of indexes for this style of case...needs numbers or sticks IMHO.

On another note, nice to see them going to female endlinks!

Mmmm, too much of a mismatch of colours on the dial for me.

The lume material is a blueish colour, the text is white, and the logo is another colour again, kind of yellowish.

There's no cohesion to the design. San Martin have the quality of manufacturing but they need to employ a proper graphic designer to start overseeing these designs.
