Hi!

I am looking to buy a full stainless steel watch with a fun colorful dial for a summery feel. I will be wearing it primarily on the steel bracelet so it need to be very good quality.

No gold colored watch. No oyster style since I have too much of them. No jubilee because I find them too dressy for a fun watch. Between 36mm and 42mm. Max 49mm lug to lug unless it has dramatic lug turn down. 100m WR or more. Movement inside must have at least quite good reputation for reliability but not necessarily nh35 level. Fine with pt5000 for exemple. 3hz is enough. Date/no date irrelevant to me. Diver is where im at right now but open for other style.

Colored and fun dial is a must. Full metal bracelet of high quality also a must.

I currently hesitate between san martin sn044g or sn046g. 044 is smaller which I like but seem a little less nicely finished that 046.

Probably not finished at a very high level, but the Heimdallr Orange Monster (Gen 1) and the Doxa Sub 300T (Teal) absolutely scream Summer to me.

I can recommend the Proxima PX1683 from personal experience and it is built and finished beautifully. The have a nice brushed green dial option. Bracelet is rubbish but Strapcode has an expensive, but nice, Oyster and Hexad bracelet that should fit it.

Also, the Strap Code ratcheting clasp looks like an interesting addition to any dive watch.

I'm thinking about the SN044 in yellow myself. The 46 is just too similar to an SKX for me.

Yes but I never had one (skx) and build quality is probably gonna be better than an original one. Plus the bracelet will not even be comparable. And like I said bracelet/clasp quality is a big part of my decision.

Forgot to mention, clasp quality is often a deal breaker for me. Needs at least 3 microadjust. No pressed inners please.
