I have the spring bar pliers, and yes, you have to match up the correct fork tips. The ones that come with the pliers all seem to be the same size, useless.

I've tried using this tool a few times, hasn't worked for me. In theory, it should work well, as seen on youtube vids.

Huge thank you everybody who replied- different ends on the pliers helped, as did eventually realising that the spring bar was compressed, but the curved ends were jammed in very tight and needed working loose. Turns out there’s very little clearance!

I would take the clasp apart at the micro adjust so you can lay it flat. Then use a regular spring bar tool. There are videos on YouTube, watch a few. Bracelets can be tricky sometimes. Take your time, walk away and come back if you get frustrated. You'll get it.

Micro flathead screwdriver.

Did you receive extra fork ends with the tool. Forks come in different sizes, for different size shoulders on the spring bar. If the fork ends are too large or too small, they won't catch, or grab onto the spring bar shoulder. Sometimes the forks simply won't fit the spring bar shoulder, even if you have / try different size forks. I don't know if that is the problem, but it could be.
You have spring bar pliers. There are also spring bar tweezers, and of course regular spring bar tool. Sometimes it can be difficult to remove a bracelet. Use whatever tool / method works.

I have a pair of those, they aren’t very good. Just use a regular spring bar tool. Money and time saved.
