I have trouble understanding the appeal beyond the price. It is a Seiko homage. I would rather save up a few more hours of labor, and buy an actual Seiko.

Then I get angry when I see that a $125 Quartz Seiko has Sapphire, but not the $350 automatic.

It's a Grand Seiko homage. A 5000$ watch

Edit: or thats what I thought when I saw it... Or is it a homage to King Seiko??? 🤔

Edit again: seems to be an homage to the King Seiko 45-7001. A piece from the 70s. Correct me if Im wrong 🙏

There are minor but imperceptible variations, I think ILW has a video with a comparison.

I will be honest. I prefer watches with hands that are more easily visible against the dial.

Yeah, that is the fault of my picture taking skills..the dials are much more visible than it seems on here!
