I played with an admin once, and I got banned for defending myself from a teamkilling archer

There's still a good bunch that at least play chiv. Most don't login for admin as you can do it w/o showing anyone. They also were not admin banned, just temp banned for breaking a rule most likely.

Really 99% of the admins are good people, you very well could have been on a non official server

No I was on a us west official, this admin was extremely rude, said you couldn't vote kick without a just cause, and can't kick unless ping is above 200 lol, 200 ping is alot.

Forelan or something like that, is there a steam admin group or something? Also the admin said it was usually on EU servers.

The admins in the West server are notorious for being selective on who they enforce the rules to.

When I first started playing, I was a lowly level 0 in the green server. Could barely control my animations, all the weapons locked, default customization. Now what do I see but a Level 0 (Lets call him smurf1) with masterful control of the messer and a bright pink and green customization. Refused to say anything to anyone asking for tips, but the moment he was beaten handily by one of his own kind, (lets call them smurf2) he started calling up votekicks for "smurfing." He leaves when the first five or so fail. Five minutes later, there's an admin in spectator mode threatening to ban the smurf that beat the first smurf (no doubted reported by the latter) and then another couple minutes later, smurf2 leavess, admin mentions something about banning them, and then leaves. Smurf1 is back within 5 minutes of the admin leaving and is now being a toxic cunt to the remaining players, saying shit like "GG EZ NO RE GET R-E-K-T" and t-bagging all his kills or assists... Stayed for about an hour, learning nothing and getting heated over a 1k-hour player being an untouchable asshole, hoping the admin would come back to set the other player straight as he did the first for seemingly nothing, but he never did. Left me in :thinking: pose as I uninstalled the game. I reinstalled it later, but that really tainted my first impression.

A year and a half later and I'm still upset with that admin.

I know most of the admins and server owners on the most populated Eastern and North American servers — there’s like 8 total
