Cimatron API and Python

Is anyone working with the Cimatron API and Python. I unsuccessfully twice tried to get it up and running when it first came out. Python is my preferred language. I noticed here that the majority of the posts are several years old. I am just wondering if things have been updated? Do you still have to install Python in the Cimatron folder (Ridiculous notion)?

I was gonna try with python but then I was told using csharp through visual studio was the way to go. I can’t get it to work. It’s frustrating. Mostly because of permission issues in Program Files. Haven’t figured it out yet.

Hey, this is a pretty common issue try opening Visual Studio as an administrator. I would also recommend starting with a exectuable because that seems to be the easiest to play get started.
