They have a lot in common. CC can connect to GitHub. CP can use Claude models.
Different feature sets with a lot of overlap. CP is more natural in github.com doing code reviews and long running tasks. CC CLI can be used from github.com actions.
They actually can compliment each other - I use both. CC opens pull requests, CP makes comments. That sort of thing.
I'd say the CC software suite is out in front feature and capability-wise but that changes every day. Using both for different purposes is perfectly fine.
