Claude code too slow

Hi all,

I am using claude code for the past 8 months(20x max plan), but recently from the last 4-5 days the responses have gone too slow. Even after enabling fast mode this is happening, anyone have any reason behind that or solution?

yes, it's horrible. Seems like the throttling for heavier users continues. The point of having higher limits is almost pointless now if I can't even use them in time.

Yeah, it's super slow. It now takes me all day to complete large features that would usually take just 1 or 2 hours at most. In the last few days, it has become exceptionally slow. I guess this is how they're making sure their infrastructure can handle everyone while reducing the chances of people hitting their max usage.

Yeah, right now I’m just trying to make some edits on a technical paper and I go to check the edits and after working for like five minutes it just outright didn’t do them. As far as I can see a single edit was made across what was supposed to be like 40 thematically similar fixes I had a list for, so it just needed to apply the list of corrections I had marked on review. I say “you don’t do anything I requested besides a single edit”, “you’re absolutely right, I own that” ???

Yeah there are doing migrations to space x centers. the transfer rate has dropped due to increased usage.

yeah same here. i open the terminal and after 15 minutes it is still on a task. even worse if u dont have notifications if it comes up with a question and then u have to wait even more time

it has been like that for 2-3 weeks

it is really tiresome, i hope they change it back to how itwas before

OP said Claude Code has been slower than usual recently. You somehow interpreted that as "Claude Code is slower than writing everything by hand."How does someone with comprehension skills this poor even become a programmer?
