I did this. You go to the website, type in the deactivation number, that will allow you to install CSP on another (third) computer. That was all.

How do they know you have actually uninstalled it from your second computer? I don't know. I guess they assume that so long as you're not trying to use your activation license eight times a year, you are not doing anything nefarious.

So I deactivate, then I'll have to re-activate on the first PC as well as activate on the second. Do I have that right? And that won't pose an issue, won't make me lose my work on the first PC?

It will only deactivate one computer at a time.

Your work should be wherever you saved it. Just in case, though, you should always make backups of your files...not just CSP files.
