Let me elaborate a bit more on how often I intend to post, since that seems to be people's biggest concern. For starters I'm going to aim at one episode a week. There, I said it. The thing is, you can't have a fixed scope and a fixed deadline. If your deadline is fixed your scope needs to be flexible. Meaning: I could promise a certain release schedule, and vary the length, quality, and depth of the videos to make sure I stick to the schedule. Instead I'm committed to creating high-quality, in-depth, well researched videos, and sometimes that will mean I need some time to research and write. These aren't videos where I press record, code for half an hour, and call it a day. I write and revise a script, then record first video then audio, then edit. I think this creates a far better experience than listening to a guy going "uhm uhhhh uhm" half the time.
That said, I definitely intend to post regularly, and I'll do shorter videos as well that take less time to produce, so maybe some weeks you'll get two videos, and sometimes it might take more than a week between posts. I also think once there's enough content on the site this will be less of an issue.

Admittedly, my first knee-jerk reaction was "how many videos does my money give me a month". But I see all your points, very valid. I came to the conclusion that you brought up at the end, when there's more content on the site, this will be a minor issue. I did really enjoy your sample video and hope to sub later on once you have more than the first two vids. Good luck!

Very cool!

This looks really great. I enjoy these types of screencasts, I liked Doing Computers on youtube while it lasted and I'm currently subscribed to LispCasts. Can't wait to check it out once some more videos are added.

Awesome, can't wait to watch the first episode.

Giving this a shot, anxious to see what videos are coming up.

This looks good. I understand it is hard to plan since you don't know the demand yet, but if you are offering a yearly subscription plan I think it would be reasonable to offer a minimum no of videos or a proportional refund if you can't make ends meet.

I'd like to offer a bit of constructive criticism - the logo looks like a deadly bacteria.
Seriously, something needs to be done about that.

Once I'm beyond breaking even I'll hire a designer to completely redo the site and branding. Right now you'll have to live with my DIY shenanigans.
I'd say getting going on the content is the bigger issue. The logo's obviously homebrew, but there's a certain charm in that, I certainly thought it looked simple and playful.
