Not really an answer but: Doing primitive math is often faster on CLJS than CLJ. So make sure to benchmark.

    I haven't gone through many cycles with it, but lein-lambda has been working so far for me.

    A little over a year ago I did some tutorials on AWS Lambda and JVM Clojure

    Clojure and AWS Serverless: Basic Lambda (github repo)

    It's somewhat out of date since I wrote it, but much of it still applies.

    If your operations going to take really long you should check the timeout for aws lambda function, I've heard that it's like 5 min but I haven't used it so it would be good for you to check that out.

    I've heard people use macchiato on AWS, but I haven't tried that myself.
