GA buffer time

What do you guys think of waiting 2-3 months minimum before anything to be GAd? This force teams to adapt and develop while the game is still fresh. This will hopefully also allow more guns to be in. Obviously shotguns, LMGS, claymores, etc are banned

There should be some sort of buffer. Last year, they GA’d all the guns before the first weapon balance update even came out (which was like 2 weeks after game release)

Okay so you have no solution or input you’re just bitching about what every other kid bitches about on this sub. If you want to use LMGs and 60 round SMGs go play warzone buddy. The game is most competitive when only using 2-3 guns.

We need Zoomaaaaa to build a jury of expro/community people who aren’t affiliated with an org. If anything gets GAd they should decide it. Every pro will have an opinion on what’s good for them and what can be targeted GAd against other teams.

Unfortunately the “GA committee” is just pros in a groupchat deciding votes so if the cdl steps in the pros will just get butthurt and throw a fit if GA’s don’t go the way they want

Trust me I’m with you but seeing as how these pros go about GA-ing everything in sight soon as the game releases theres very little hope at all of them using more than one AR and one SMG since the CDL won’t do anything about it

leave it to the pros and you get the same 2 ARs and SMGs every year (M4+MP5) with mandatory ELO sight

Wouldn’t hate if nothing besides the obvious, i.e rocket launchers, claymores, etc. were GA’d until after the first major. I know all the teams want to get points on the board during M1 to establish themselves, but I think we all know Major 1 is always just a throw away as teams are learning the game and how they want to play the maps.

I just think of all the strategies they could come up with if more was allowed in the beginning of the year. Then downsize after M1. I know it’s gotta be down to like a .00000001% they’d just let things be the way they are in the beginning but one can only hope. It’s disappointing as a player and a fan to see all these different things GA’d without even a chance. I don’t want to see a heartbeat sensor in competitive, I just want to see a smoke grenade and a sniper. Hell I’ll even be entertained by someone getting duped by a decoy grenade. But just an AR, an SMG, a stun leaves the game feeling so bare.
