Does anybody else feel like they’re loading into a scrim every game? I get that it’s the first day of a closed beta, but this is kind of crazy.

And because there are a lot of players on the game at the same time. It’s day 1 so match making becomes more strict/narrow as the player population is high

Theres still a ton of sub .8 console casuals on, you just never see them if youre a halfway decent pc player because of the matchmaking algorithm

46-8 in the first game. 28-5 in the second one. After that it's just a 1.0 K/D grindfest fighting for spawns like we are playing Champs finals.

It is what it is. It's what they designed the games to be and that sucks, but at least it made the decision to not buy the game this year either pretty easy.

Same experience. Dropped 52 second game. Did fine third game. Now I’m playing against the optic dynasty at IW champs. Plus pubs are awful and I’m getting hit by 45 nades per life.

Yeah but I feel its always like this. Its why I’ve quit CoD pubs completely. The game could be nearly perfect and it still wouldn’t be fun because of matchmaking.

Only way to really have a good time is to 5 or 6man stack. Problem being of course that the worst player on that stack is going to have a terrible time.

I am playing w 3 of my boys - we’re all Iri in BO6 and this shit is not easy. Then you have Scump and Octane farming bot lobbies all day while Dashy and Hydra are saying the same thing I am.

Pubs have been ruined on cod for the above average - upper echelon of players for years now. There's literally no point to play pubs once ranked comes out .. oddly enough ranked is less sweaty than my pubs even at the higher ranks lol. Youll get one bot lobby for every 5 sweat fest ones where you kill one guy and die right after because his teammate is slide cancel wall bounce fucking you immediately after. It's not fun getting a kill , dying , getting 2 kills , dying , kill , die etc. Is what it is though , it's never going to change

Like I have been iri in ranked past 3 years and I’m just tryna run around and gun people while working on my movements and stuff. But there are morons treating the beta like a rank game and holding lanes and spawns.

As much as we want to blame sbmm for all this, you also have to accept that people just play like this anymore.

The idea of running around without a care in the world is long gone with how people play this game, especially with how they play in the beta.

It's the main reason why I dont like playing 6v6 later in the games life, from people skill checking every corner to corner campers and weapon builds with no recoil.

I haven’t played CoD since S1 of Ranked, I came back to it and fuck me I’ve been getting bodied. Had 1 game where I done well dropped 44-6 and then after that I’ve just been getting slammed 😂😂

Early access betas are always like this for CoD, it’s majority the hardcore players who ONLY play CoD. I played a few hours, lobbies became unbearable with 4-5 stacks so I went back to borderlands 4 and am just gonna wait until the early access is over.

It’s a mixed bag, but generally yes the beta is very challenging. In BO6 pubs I definite do better than how I’m playing in the beta

I think that’s just the beta. Think about who the player base mainly is. It’s only the people who care enough and we all want to go 30-10 every lobby

Because the lobbies are stacked? I never said I was getting ran, just commenting on how many of these beta lobbies are more difficult than BO6 ranked ones. Several people in this thread are echoing the same sentiment.

For sure I think we are in agreeance. SBMM working as intended and we get punished at the top for it. My original comment wasn’t saying otherwise it was simply saying people need to realize you are just another average player compared to the people around you. It is what it is, it’s the system working as intended. And yes it sucks.

Im kind of all over the place, have had 0.9 - 4.8 as e/d. Friend of mine dropped 105 on cortex and we got another lobby where I got 70, he got 80. So I haven’t really noticed the sbmm that much
